SUMMARY:CONSCIOUS II Autumn Course in Clinical Trials
DESCRIPTION:Clinical trials are essential for the development and approval 
 of new drugs\, therapies\, and medical devices. Despite its importance\, t
 he highly regulated and ever-changing environment can be daunting for earl
 y-career researchers. The CONSCIOUS II Autumn Course aims to address this 
 by providing comprehensive training for trialists of the 21st century on t
 he following topics. The course will be based on team-based learning\, han
 ds-on activities\, and extensive and practically oriented discussions.\n\n
  	Clinical Trials Designs\, Clinical Trials Methodology and Research\n 	Tr
 ial Management\n 	Quality and Regulatory Affairs\n 	Pharmacovigilance and 
 Study Medication\n 	Pediatric Clinical Trials\n 	Leadership for principal 
 invesigators of the 21st century\n 	Collaboration with CZECRIN/ECRIN: Oppo
 rtunities to partner with CZECRIN and ECRIN for support in managing academ
 ically initiated clinical studies will be discussed.\n\nThe CONSCIOUS II i
 s an educational three-year project\, co-funded by the ERASMUS+ programme 
 of the European Union\, conducted in a consortium of six European universi
 ties. It aims to develop the skills necessary to conduct high-quality acad
 emic clinical trials as well as the skills to effectively disseminate the 
 results obtained.
