DESCRIPTION:Most rare diseases currently lack approved therapies\, leaving 
 millions of patients without adequate medical care. This situation is larg
 ely due to structural deficiencies in healthcare financing systems\, which
  were not developed to accommodate the specific requirements of rare disea
 ses.\nThis introductory session analyzes the factors contributing to these
  financing challenges. Key issues to be discussed include limited patient 
 populations\, high therapy costs\, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) cons
 traints\, fragmented risk-sharing mechanisms\, and short-term budgetary li
 mitations. The session aims to identify the systemic gaps that result in i
 nequitable access to diagnosis and treatment.\nDrawing on global data\, th
 e webinar will establish a framework for evaluating innovative financing m
 odels. The objective is to reach a consensus on where such solutions can m
