One of the flagship initiatives of ERN-LUNG – European Reference Network for rare respiratory diseases is the GoEast project which aims to include healthcare professionals from Eastern part of the European Union in the network. It is a great honor to coordinate these steps and work together with esteemed colleagues Elisabetta Balestro, Helge Heberstreit and many others. The ERN-Lung symposium took place in the beautiful city of Iasi, Romania as part of the ILD conference of the Romanian Society of Pulmonogists organized by Irina Strambu – many thanks again for including the topic of ERN-Lung and also for the opportunity to introduce the activities of European Pulmonary Fibrosis Federation (EU-PFF). It was heartwarming to see a Hungarian colleague Müller Veronika amongst the international speakers.
