ERN-LUNG Academy

The ERN-LUNG Academy is a curriculum for medical staff at any stage of their career, who wishes to get a proof of knowledge on rare respiratory diseases. It consists of Webinars and eCases, but also includes on-site training in ERN-LUNG Centers. We call for applications from participants of EU-member States from September to November each year. Classes start in January. If you wish to apply for next yearโ€™s class, please send a letter of motivation to info@ern-lung.eu

ERN-LUNG Online advance system

The EXpert Advisory BOard (EXABO) is a pan-European internet platform, which has been developed in the context of ERN-LUNG in liaison with the Medical Informatics Group of University Hospital Frankfurt, to answer questions on all aspects of rare respiratory diseases. The platform is primarily aimed at patients and care team members but is openly accessible by anyone who wants to ask a related question.

3rd Share4Rare open call for patient-driven research projects

The 3rd Call4Projects will be accepting applications until September 30th.

Share4Rare is particularly interested in supporting projects, whetherย qualitativeย orย quantitative, that contribute to a deeper understanding of rare diseases. These projects may focus on various aspects, such as theย impact of the disease on the quality of lifeย for individuals affected by or living with it, the description of the disease’sย natural history, the evaluation of specific treatmentย side effects, theย prognosisย of the disease, or even the creation ofย patient registries.

Throughout the entire research process, theย Share4Rare teamย will provide comprehensive assistance. This includes support in presenting the project to theย Ethics Committee, continuousย accompanimentย of patients throughout the study, and the provision of aย results reportย to facilitate subsequent publication.

To apply for this call:

  1. Read theย Call4Projects Rules for Submission.
  2. Fill in theย Contact Form, theย Application Form, and theย Letter of Financial Commitment.
  3. Submitย the three documentsย toย info@share4rare.orgย beforeย September 30thย at 17:00h CEST.

The Call4Projects will remain open untilย September 30th, 2023. From the proposals received, the scientific committee will carefully review and selectย two projects. These selected projects will be co-financed by theย Sant Joan de Dรฉu Research Foundation, with a contribution ofย 50%ย towards their implementation.
