This year was the 8th edition of the IMPAHCT which clear aim is to “bring together global experts to elevate care in pulmonary hypertension, IPF, and other ILDs”.
The programme consisted of transversal trending topics (advances on diagnosis, impact of early diagnosis) masterclass sessions and panel discussions.
In a multisakeholder and very diverse roundtable (a patient from France, physicians from Spain and Colombia, and a nurse from the Netherlands) we explored the difficulties of the patient journey from various angles and concluded that despite the efforts and advances there are still couple of gaps to be addressed.
We are looking forward to the next year event and to potential further collaboration.
