The EXpert Advisory BOard (EXABO) is a pan-European internet platform, which has been developed in the context of ERN-LUNG in liaison with the Medical Informatics Group of University Hospital Frankfurt, to answer questions on all aspects of rare respiratory diseases. As an ERN-LUNG member, clinician or patient, you have a unique perspective on the impact of a medical condition on life, work and family. This experience is invaluable to the performance of the network and in turn to healthcare professionals, policy makers and researchers.ย For this purpose, ERN-LUNG has launched an Input Finder listing all the ongoing projects in different aspects of rare lung disease care that you may get involved in.ย Have your say in the prioritisation and development of patient resources, educational material, scientific research and guidelines development.

As an example, learn more about the process of patient participation in the development of ERN clinical guidelines here.ย To understand more about the significance and impact of patient input, read a factsheet on “patient and public involvement” produced by the European Lung Foundation (ELF).

Take a look at the open ERN-LUNG projects that you would like to contribute to.
