ERN-LUNG Academy

The ERN-LUNG Academy is a curriculum for medical staff at any stage of their career, who wishes to get a proof of knowledge on rare respiratory diseases. It consists of Webinars and eCases, but also includes on-site training in ERN-LUNG Centers. We call for applications from participants of EU-member States from September to November each year. Classes start in January. If you wish to apply for next yearโ€™s class, please send a letter of motivation to info@ern-lung.eu

ERN-LUNG Online advance system

The EXpert Advisory BOard (EXABO) is a pan-European internet platform, which has been developed in the context of ERN-LUNG in liaison with the Medical Informatics Group of University Hospital Frankfurt, to answer questions on all aspects of rare respiratory diseases. The platform is primarily aimed at patients and care team members but is openly accessible by anyone who wants to ask a related question.

ECRD Rare Diseases in a changing & competitive Europe 2026

Save the Date for the official conference days: 3โ€“4 June 2026 

For your information, on 2 June 2026, we will also be holding a Pre-Conference Workshop, which will focus on drafting a roadmap for the future of rare disease policy, as well as our Council of National Alliances Meeting (for National Alliances representatives only). Please note that the Workshop will be open to a limited number of participants – further details will be shared soon. For now, we kindly ask you to focus all communications on the conference days: 3-4 June.  

๐Ÿ‘‰ Call for Poster Abstracts Submissions 

Open to patient groups, academics, healthcare professionals and all other interested parties having conducted research or studies on rare diseases or public health projects.

Public registration for ECRD 2026 will open in December 2025. At that time, we will be sharing further details on the conference programme.
