ERN-LUNG Academy

The ERN-LUNG Academy is a curriculum for medical staff at any stage of their career, who wishes to get a proof of knowledge on rare respiratory diseases. It consists of Webinars and eCases, but also includes on-site training in ERN-LUNG Centers. We call for applications from participants of EU-member States from September to November each year. Classes start in January. If you wish to apply for next year’s class, please send a letter of motivation to info@ern-lung.eu

ERN-LUNG Online advance system

The EXpert Advisory BOard (EXABO) is a pan-European internet platform, which has been developed in the context of ERN-LUNG in liaison with the Medical Informatics Group of University Hospital Frankfurt, to answer questions on all aspects of rare respiratory diseases. The platform is primarily aimed at patients and care team members but is openly accessible by anyone who wants to ask a related question.

ELF / EMBARC Bronchiectasis Patient Conference coming up in March!

ELF/EMBARC Bronchiectasis Patient Conference 2023
This year’s Bronchiectasis Patient Conference will take place online on Sunday 12 March 2023 at 10:00-16:00 CET. The conference is for people living with bronchiectasis and their family members and carers. It is an opportunity to understand more about the disease and how to manage it. The event may also be useful to healthcare professionals and anyone with an interest in bronchiectasis. Key sessions this year will focus on:
  • airway clearance techniques,
  • the most up-to-date research news, and
  • how bronchiectasis affects people through different life stages
Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask the speakers questions. The event will be held in English. The sessions will be recorded and made available on this page within 2 weeks of the event.
