ERN-LUNG Goes East
November was also a busy month for the Go East project. The systematic research for potential health care provider candidates from Eastern-European continued and one on one online meetings were held with those who were already identified or referred.
Thanks to the efforts of Prof. Francesco Bonella, we managed to organize a zoom webinar and introduce ERN-Lung and more specifically the sarcoidosis core network to main centres from Poland to Serbia and from Hungary to Romania. Based on positive responses, our expectations are high: we hope that in the coming months many applications will be received.
Raising the awareness and profile of ERN-Lung
The members of the network coordination team were invited to meetings to provide insight to the concept and advantages of ERN-Lung. There was an online, tailor-made course for Belgian patient experts with various topics organized by the Patient Expert Center and the 4-day long Annual Pulmonary Hypertension European Conference organized by European Pulmonary Hypertension Association where a complete hour was dedicated to the topic to name a few.
