At the end of January, we launched our new ERN-LUNG Member Activity Performance Tool – LUNG-MAP. The idea has been initiated by the results of the 5-Year-Evaluation. LUNG-MAP will facilitate knowledge about the level of participation of each member HCP in the different tasks carried out by the ERN. Designed to provide a comprehensive overview of our members’ activities, this tool will help us identify areas of strength, pinpoint gaps, and address weaknesses within our network. With this tool, we aim to implement specific actions to engage our members in different areas, which will strengthen the quality of our networkโs outcomes.
The collection of yearly monitoring data indicators has been seamlessly integrated into LUNG-MAP. To streamline the process, both monitoring and LUNG-MAP questions have been incorporated into a single survey, mandatory to fill in for our (full)member HCPs and Affiliated Partners until the 6th of March. The survey shall only be filled in and submitted by one person from the member HCPs.
ERN-LUNG will leverage the LUNG-MAP data to establish a benchmarking system within the network. By assigning points in various categories, we aim to create a comprehensive overview of strengths and weaknesses. This invaluable insight will empower our Network Coordination Team to implement targeted actions for enhancing our members’ activities.
The Network Coordination Team (NCT) is looking forward to the results of LUNG-MAP and we are having high hopes to be able to strengthen our networks outcomes together with our members.
