ERN-LUNG Academy

The ERN-LUNG Academy is a curriculum for medical staff at any stage of their career, who wishes to get a proof of knowledge on rare respiratory diseases. It consists of Webinars and eCases, but also includes on-site training in ERN-LUNG Centers. We call for applications from participants of EU-member States from September to November each year. Classes start in January. If you wish to apply for next yearโ€™s class, please send a letter of motivation to info@ern-lung.eu

ERN-LUNG Online advance system

The EXpert Advisory BOard (EXABO) is a pan-European internet platform, which has been developed in the context of ERN-LUNG in liaison with the Medical Informatics Group of University Hospital Frankfurt, to answer questions on all aspects of rare respiratory diseases. The platform is primarily aimed at patients and care team members but is openly accessible by anyone who wants to ask a related question.

ERN-LUNG PCD Meeting in Nicosia, Cyprus

Dear friends, colleagues, and members of the ERN-LUNG PCD Core,

We would like to remind you about the upcoming ERN-LUNG PCD Meeting which will take place in Nicosia, Cyprus between April 10th โ€“ 12th 2024.

Please click here to register. Applications for a limited number of travel grants of 500 EUR each can be submitted by clicking here (application deadline: March 18th).

This meeting is jointly organized by the University of Cyprus, the University of Mรผnster, the Copenhagen University Hospital – Rigshospitalet and the PCD Clinical Trial Network. It will bring together scientists from across the world to share their advances in PCD diagnosis, clinical research, and care. Participation in the meeting and the workshops will be free of charge.

We would also like to remind early career researchers and other scientists in PCD to submit abstracts for oral communication and poster presentations by Monday, March 18th.  A prize for best abstract poster/presentation from early career researchers will be awarded.

The meeting will also host training workshops on:

–        PCD diagnostic techniques (nNO, HVMA, TEM, IF, genetics)

–        Performance of Multiple Breath Washout (MBW) for clinical trials

–        Patient-oriented research in PCD
