ERN-LUNG Academy

The ERN-LUNG Academy is a curriculum for medical staff at any stage of their career, who wishes to get a proof of knowledge on rare respiratory diseases. It consists of Webinars and eCases, but also includes on-site training in ERN-LUNG Centers. We call for applications from participants of EU-member States from September to November each year. Classes start in January. If you wish to apply for next yearโ€™s class, please send a letter of motivation to info@ern-lung.eu

ERN-LUNG Online advance system

The EXpert Advisory BOard (EXABO) is a pan-European internet platform, which has been developed in the context of ERN-LUNG in liaison with the Medical Informatics Group of University Hospital Frankfurt, to answer questions on all aspects of rare respiratory diseases. The platform is primarily aimed at patients and care team members but is openly accessible by anyone who wants to ask a related question.

ERN-LUNG has been granted the second call for INEA/CEF

ERN-LUNG was awarded the second call for Innovation and Networks Executive Agency / Connecting Europe Facility (INEA/CEF) grant for a total of 210.000 euros, for the proposed action of ERN-LUNG e-Support. CEF is a funding programme of the Europe 2020 Strategy in the sectors of transport, energy and telecommunications. ERN-LUNG had won a first grant within the telecom call to fund the IT-Helpdesk to ensure adequate and efficient use of the ERN Core Services such as Clinical Patient Management System (CPMS) and ERN Collaborative Platform (ECP). This second grant will continue the aforementioned support and in addition, will help ERN-LUNG in establishing and integrating e-Learning and e-Teaching tools, for patients and healthcare professionals, into the eServices provided by the European Commission.

The project partners of this application, submitted together with the European Respiratory Society (ERS), include University Hospital Frankfurt, University Medical Centre Utrecht, Hannover Medical School, Santโ€™Orsola-Malpighi Polyclinic-University of Bologna.
