Patient advocates (ePAGs) of ERN-Lung have most recently launched a working group on organ donation and transplantation and are recruiting both professional members and patients to join. The primary aim is to help patients waiting for transplantation and guide those patients who re-start their life with new organs.
Following the establishment of the working group literature research, the review of already available political statements, advocacy tools, best practices (eg. fast track) as well as patient leaflets are planned. In a medium term scientific paper, collection of tips&hints for patients and a call to action political event is planned.
