We have replaced the previous LUNG-MAP format with a new automated tool which was developed to simplify the data collection process.
The new LUNG-MAP is available on our website, designed for you to complete at your own pace, which means you can save answers you have already entered and finish your responses later.
With this tool, we aim to implement specific actions to engage our members in different areas, strengthening the quality of our network’s outcomes as well as improve our network structures and performance. We will use your data to score the ERN-LUNG member and Affiliated Partner HCPs activities within various categories. No negative consequences will be drawn from our side in case of answering a question with ยด0ยด.
Please note that the ERN Continuous Monitoring Data Collection is integrated into this tool. This means that the monitoring indicators are collected via this survey.
In 2023, the European Commission had developed a new virtual platform for reporting. To date, two indicators (number of new patients and use of orphacodes) must be submitted there by the respective representative of the healthcare provider. The European Commission has scheduled a short webinar on January 8 for all participating centers, in which a walkthrough of the HCP Data Collection Platform will be presented.
Please noteย that the ERN Continuous Monitoring Data collection exercise is mandatory for all full members and Affiliated partners so please submit the two above mentioned indicators to the EU plattform and fill in your data regarding the remaining indicators within the LUNG-MAP. Deadline for submission of the LUNG-MAP survey is 15 March 2026.
Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Create your password
Representatives and deputies will be receiving an automated E-Mail from our system to set up your personalized password. Please click ‘set password’ to create a secure password. In case you can’t find the E-Mail for password setup, just drop a message to our Network Coordination Team for support.
Step 2: Sign in
With your login details you will get access to your own User Account. In case you have forgotten your password please simply click on the “Forgot password?” link and follow the steps to reset it. In case you wish to delegate the task of filling out a survey to someone else, please remember that they will need your personal login details to do so.

With the ‘Survey Overview’ feature, you can easily track the status of each survey and make any necessary adjustments. You will receive an email whenever ERN-LUNG creates new surveys. With the โSave draftโ feature you can save your progress and pick up right where you left off. Please note that once you have submitted your answers it will not be possible to make any further changes. Please make sure to submit your responses to the survey before the deadline
