The annual Continuous Monitoring and Quality Improvement exercise of 2026 (data of 2025) will begin and run fromย 1 January to 28 February 2026 for ERN members (full members and Affiliated Partners)ย to report to ERNs (NCT). As you may know we have combined both the ERN annual monitoring data collection survey with our members activity tool, in order to keep surveys and your workload at bay.

You will report most of your results within the LUNG MAP, which will be sent out shortly to HCP Board of network representatives and deputy representatives. The first part of our LUNG-MAP contains the questions regarding the annual Continous Monitoring exercise, were you will be asked to submit your numbers and data regarding your activities within your ERN (number of new patients, questions regarding conferences, education, publications, etc.).

Please note:
The European Commission had developed a new virtual platform for reporting in 2023. To date, two indicators (number of new patients and use of orphacodes) must be submitted there. Please checkย hereย how to get access to this tool. Please note that this exercise is mandatory and the two above mentioned indicators must be submitted by the Healthcare Provider representative.

The remaining indicators will be reported in the same manner as they were before, outside of the new platform and within the LUNG-MAP (see description above). For more information about the ERN Core Set of Indicators, please click here
