ERN-LUNG Academy

The ERN-LUNG Academy is a curriculum for medical staff at any stage of their career, who wishes to get a proof of knowledge on rare respiratory diseases. It consists of Webinars and eCases, but also includes on-site training in ERN-LUNG Centers. We call for applications from participants of EU-member States from September to November each year. Classes start in January. If you wish to apply for next yearโ€™s class, please send a letter of motivation to info@ern-lung.eu

ERN-LUNG Online advance system

The EXpert Advisory BOard (EXABO) is a pan-European internet platform, which has been developed in the context of ERN-LUNG in liaison with the Medical Informatics Group of University Hospital Frankfurt, to answer questions on all aspects of rare respiratory diseases. The platform is primarily aimed at patients and care team members but is openly accessible by anyone who wants to ask a related question.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPENย  here ย untilย 15 February, 2023.

Registration will remain open for the reserve list only until 2 March 2023. An e-mail will be sent by 3 March 2023 to the selected participants.

Itย is open to the international research community, to clinicians and to medical specialists who have experience and concrete interest in the diagnosis and research on rare diseases.ย Registration is mandatory and closes on 15 February.

The โ€œTraining on strategies to foster solutions of undiagnosed rare disease casesโ€, will take place from 3-5 April 2023, at Istituto Superiore di Sanitร , ISS, Rome, Italy.

4 travel and accommodation fellowships are available for participants living and working in a EU-13 Country or in Turkey. For more information on eligibility criteria please write to the course director Dr. Claudio Carta (claudio.carta@iss.it, in Ccย laura.cellai@iss.it).

Participants selected to receive a travel and accommodation fellowship will be contacted by email by 3 March 2023. After this date the selection process will close. Attendants not contacted by email by this date should consider themselves as non-selected.

Please note: inside ISS the wearing of FFP2 masks is mandatory. Social distancing will be required during the training course. Participants are asked to bring their laptop for the hand-on sessions.
